Webonautics formed in the year 2000, engages in providing solutions for the Web. Derived from the word AERONAUTICS (space engineering), Webonautics translates to Web Engineering, the key word being “WEB”. Launched with the focus on offering web-based services Webonautics soon expanded its area of operations to include all areas of the Digital Media (i.e.) Web, Interactive Multimedia (Web, CD, & DVD), and Print Artwork.

Webonautics philosophy and vision includes a commitment to contribute positively and fruitfully to the society. Central to this vision Webonautics utilizes the Web to support and spread awareness of culture and nature. In the early stages of its inception, Webonautics took its first step in this direction by launching the Infotainment division.

Webonautics combines creativity with technology to provide quality and innovative solutions for the Web, Multimedia, and Print projects. Today, Webonautics is synonymous with quality, efficiency, and client-focused culture.

Suma Srinivas – Director: Operations

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Suma Srinivas received her Bachelor of Business Management in the year 1994 from SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore (India). She completed her 2 year Higher Diploma in Software Engineering in 1996 and her Masters degree in Interactive Multimedia from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia in 2004.

It was during her stint as a Web Consultant and Web Designer she met Lathesh Suryakantha in the April 2000. Over a period of next two months exchanging opinions they decided to work as a team combining their efforts and creative ideas. They signed their first client as a team on June 3, 2000. Together they founded Webonautics in July 2000. Suma Srinivas works as the Director: Operations of Webonautics.

Lathesh Suryakantha – Director: Technology

Lathesh Suryakantha is the Director: Technology of Webonautics. Lathesh is a graduate from the NITTE University, Mangalore, India where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a concentration on computer science in the year 1999.

It was during his job as a Web Designer he got the opportunity to work along with Suma Srinivas. The similar views, ideology, zeal and inspiration in the field they enjoy working led to them teaming up to offer solutions for the Web Media. Together they founded and manage Webonautics which began its operations in 2000. In 2004 Lathesh received his Masters degree in Interactive Multimedia from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
