Baisakhi, the harvest festival, falls on April 13. Celebrated in Punjab and Haryana, this festival also commemorates the formation of the order of the Khalsa.

Gurupurab

The birth anniversary of each of the ten gurus of the Khalsa Pantha is celebrated as Gurpurab. Of the ten Gurpurabs occurring in a year, the most important is the one that commemorates the birth of Guru Nanak.

Holla-Mohalla

Celebrated by the Sikhs one day after Holi, Holla Mohalla is observed in Anandpur Sahiband Muktsar in Punjab. Prayers and contests in martial skills form an integral part of the festivities.
