The Tuluvas from 1491 to 1570 A.D.
Krishnadevaraya, whose name is synonymous with Vijayanagara Empire, belongs to
this dynasty. He ruled between 1509 and 1529. The most brilliant ruler, under
whose regime the empire passed through a golden age, was Krishnadevaraya.
